As a vendor I am disappointed in their attitude on theft. This mall charges the same as others with limited hours. Cameras in the business but the staff don't monitor or ban repeat customers who steal. Staff can be surly and dismissive. Store is not cleaned. Always seems dirty. And the staff could benefit in a class on customer service. Some items in some booths are a mess. Air freshener needs to be used occasionally. They have no special sales for vendors like the other stores either. The other Outer Loop Location had a yard sale and ti vendors it was free. They keep raising booth prices.

There's an older woman with short hair working there and she is obnoxious to the customers. I won't be going back there.

Is this place still open? wanting to travel this way

There are illegal and immoral activities going on with Peddler's Mall employees and their treatment of its Vendor's.

I have witnessed all these things and been told my many other eye witnesses of these activities.



Public Reprimand of Vendor's with accusations, hear-say, (as well as hightened and hateful words and voice...) made to vendors in front of customers and other employees without first talking and fully evaluating the situation(s) and with no notice to vendor's of any assumption of wrong-doing. Often delivered as justified by saying that this comes from the "Owner". I believe that means that whatever was told to the owner (true or false) is decided upon and delivered by management at each individual store.



Preferential Treatment of Vendor's who's sales are higher with more profit to the Peddler's Mall(s). With a vendor applying for a booth and being told that as soon as the booth was available you were to receive first option to rent, however, a vendor (with much higher sales) who had not applied asks for it when it becomes available is given the booth. Has been witness to happen many times and has upset many of the vendor’s.



Taking Possession of Unpaid Booths and Lost Tag Items and then Re-Selling for Personal Gain...Not company gain. These items are given to person's of personal preference to re-sell for personal profit (many times it’s a fellow employee/relative of manager). I and other vendors have witnessed verbally and in plain sight this activity.



Improper Treatment toward Vendor’s with Complaints to Management. If vendors should complain of improper and immoral treatment of a situation, not to mention illegal, then they are subject to personal vengeance (which I believe is very sad and child like, but unfortunately...this happens and I have witnessed it...on a few occasions).

The Outer Loop Peddlers Mall is a great place to shop. There are both new and used items to choose from and you never know what you might find there. It is like being on a treasure hunt and you don't have sales people following you around like some in the regular stores do. Most of the people who have a space there keep their area neat and keep their shelves stocked. You can find some great buys on everyday items as well as the unusual and antiques. I really enjoy my visit each time and always come away with a good bargain. Lynn B.
