never. I tried to order a cake from them, I wanted one similar to the one on THEIR facebook page. They told me I needed to come in with a picture. When I said to her I work across town and need it for Saturday, she said, "sorry I cannot help you". I really dislike businesses that think so much of themselves they believe that customer service is not necessary.

My fiance and I met with a consultant at this bakery on 2/4/12 for our wedding cake. She was late to our appointment and she never introduced herself. She placed the cake album on a very small round table that we were sitting at and left the appointment for about 4-5mins. We later found out that her name is Sandy (this is only because she wrote her name on the paperwork that she gave us with our estimate). She never asked about our colors or the theme. This was our first cake tasting and it was not a very good experience. And because I'm not from the Louisville area, I was so excited to taste the infamous Plehn's cake (which was very moist by the way (GREAT JOB!!)), but due to the unprofessionalism and lack of Sandy's willingness to help my fiance and I pick the best cake for our day, we opted to go with another company. Sorry Sandy, but you were not very inviting nor helpful. We need a consultant/baker who knows what he/she is talking about when we ask questions. Not someone who looks like a deer in headlights. My fiance and I are still searching for the #1 Bakery in Louisville and we are definitely up for the challenge.
