S.Y. Bancorp is a Kentucky-based bank holding company, formed in 1988 as the parent company of Stock Yards Bank & Trust Company. Stock Yards was established in 1904 and has more than $1 billion in total assets. It serves the greater Louisville, Ky., area, with branches in Louisville and southern Indiana. The bank also has a branch in Indianapolis.
