For anyone who thinks it's 'strange' that these reviews are so specific, it's because this boarding facility is completely transparent! They welcome tours and leave no room closed to the public on a tour. I used to work for this facility and it is always clean and the staff truly cares about each and every dog, often going to great measures to ensure dogs stick to special diets, get needed medications, and even read your pup a bedtime story if need be. They book up quickly because repeat customers come back time and time again! Also, the pups get their own 'rooms' with a private run in each one, as well as a tv and doggie bed. You can even bring everything but the kitchen sink to make your dogs room more like home if you'd like! I am biased, however, for any naysayer, go for a tour and you will soon be a fan!

Our two dogs are our children and we have found Treats to be the best place in Louisville!! They treat your pets like their own and the staff is great! The place is taylor made for pets and our dogs have loved staying there as well as going in for grooming!! Can't say enough about how great it is to find a place that is so great with our babies!!

Take a tour and make up your own mind about Treats Pet Resort. I went and took a look around at some of the other boarding facilities before I found Treats, no one compares. I was very happy with the staff and the location of the building. I like how they are set back in the woods away from all busy streets, I could not imagine if my dog got off leash in a busy parking lot and ran out into a very busy street. They have someone on staff 24 hours a day which made my wife sleep a little easier on out vacation. The price is a little more starting out than some of the other kennels in the same ballpark as Treats but after you add in all your walks and playtimes you will end up paying a lot more then you would at Treats. Everything is added in the cost there. We didn't have to pay extra to let our dog use the bathroom, get out and run around, or get her ear drops. Our little Molly was very excited to see us upon our return but I could tell she had a very good time at Treats. She would run back to the staff and want to play with them as we were checking out. I must add we were checking out at 9pm, we didn't have to wait until the next day to pick up our baby because they let us pick up at any time of the day.

As I said at the very start of this, before you make up your mind by reading a bad review on here. Take a tour and you will never want to let a family member stay anywhere else. Molly had a great vacation just as we did knowing that she was getting the love that she would had got at home.

it seems strange that only once this business has gotten a bad review, 2 people write an exceptional review after that. both reviews were written on the same day and by people who havent written reviews for anything else. then a couple of days after someone else writes an exceptional review. all 3 give every detail about this place. i dont know of anyone who uses a place and can name every detail about it, unless ofcourse they own the place. seems like the owners of this place are trying to give themselves good reviews. to the owners of treats, people arent blind, and can realise what you are doing by writing reviews for yourselves. maybe what lovelybrenda said was true because what they are doing is a little sketchy :)

With my wife and I our animals are like our kids and before we went on a cruise last year we went and basically "interviewed" all of the places in Louisville that we could bring our pets while we were gone and we were shocked at some of the places we saw until we walked into Treats. The people who own this place are great people who love animals themselves and they and their entire staff went out of there way to make sure our pets were not only comfortable but well taken care of. The best thing about Treats is that they are staffed 24/7, 365 days a year, so your pets is never alone and locked in until the next day like we found with some other kennels. When we got home I don't know if the dogs wanted to leave. Our dogs go at least once a month for a platdate to just interact with other dogs and give us a day to our selves. I would highly recommend Treats to anyone and everyone that I know, they have always taken care of us and our pets and I know that they would do the same for you.

I love the amount of attention they give to the pets, as well as the owners. They are very helpful when answering questions and are very attentive to the animals. My dog loves play dates and overnight stays! I would recommend Treats to anyone!

I would recommend Treats to anyone and everyone! They give each and every dog the time, attention, and love that they deserve while their "parents" are away. I have taken my two dogs there on numerous occassions, and I can tell by the wag of their tails they they've truly enjoyed their experience! Treats offers a ton of amenities, including nature hikes, car rides (who's dogs doesn't love a good ole car ride), photo sessions, and even web cams for those parents who can't stand to be so far away. Treats also offers Playdates, which is a great way to allow your dogs more time to be social - and if your dogs love others like mine do, they will have a great time playing with the others. Treats pays special attention to all dogs, especially those with medical conditions or special medication needs. I have never had a bad experience and they have always given me a full report if my dogs even so much as caught their paw in the door! They are great people and provide a service unlike any other facitlity in Louisville!



Unfortunately, Treats does not have an onsite Vet, but not very many places here do. And they do provide 24 HOUR care ... your pets are NEVER left alone under any circumstances. That is a comforting thought when leaving your beloved pets whether it be for a day or a week.
