Provided by YP.comWe bought a camper at camping world a couple of weeks ago. It is a 2021. We have it sitting in our driveway right now and we have the slide out. When we went in the camper to get some of the paperwork that we had stored under the couch, we discovered that everything was soaking wet. It had rained. My husband called Camping World to inquire about this leaking and they said " close the slide when it rains". This is ridiculous. If you are camping and it rains, you take shelter in your camper. Why would you collapse your space while confined inside???????? This is absolutely insane. We have never had to close our slide with previous campers for rain. Do not give Camping World one penny of your money. They do not stand behind their products. Susan Ward

Provided by YP.comWe purchased our Heartland Big Horn two weeks ago and I wrote a positive review praising the sales team, service team and finance team. T.O. was amazing at delivering and helping us to connect (which they don’t normally do) but it didn’t take long to discover some issues. We contacted Kenneth in service and explained what was happening. Within 24 hours he had contacted his superiors (our issues were unique) and got back to us. From that point on Kenneth has done everything we could have expected under our warranty. We have corresponded via email and he has been prompt and courteous with every assurance that all of our issues will be resolved, whatever it takes. Provided by SuperpagesI am very disappointed in camping world I brought my camper in last year to have them fix my inverter on my motor home they took it in on the appointment time and called me later the next day to tell me the inverter shut itself off on safety so all they had to do was reset the program in it they said I could pick it up the next day so i went and picked it op got it home only to find out that it was not working still I called camping world and told them what happened they said bring it back I told them i was going out of town and would not be back till june they said ok I brought it back to them when i got home they were sorry that it happened this time they told me it was the two batteries that I had not replaced I bought new ones replaced them and it still was not working so I called them again they said bring it back and they would check it. So I did and this time they said it was the inverter this time I waited 6 weeks to get it they called me today to say it was fixed I went their with my wife only to find out that it was not fixed I am really tired of this I am in the hole with them for so much that they took care of the deductable but I have put in 180 miles on my car and 60 miles on the mototrhome to get the first thing fixed the first time it should have been fixed wright I know when I work maintmence we had to fix it the first time and if it came to haveing a call back you r A** was in a sling

He is great to work with and is with you during and after the sale. We have had many questions after we had bought the RV and is willing to answer any of them wether he is at work or his day off. He Always returns the call. Thank you for the Great Work you do and answering all the questions we have.

Provided by YP.comThe reviews that have one star are right on line. I say this.... Buyers beware. They will not.. I say this again.. They will not talk or call you back. They tried to add extra money to the banks loan without my knowledge that would have gone into their pockets. Sales person fired. This is the poorest camping world of all times. If I could give them a minus 10 stars I would do that. Oh yes, by the way they told us they couldn't transfer tags because of Homeland Security and that we need to pay for new ones. More money in pockets for them. Just not the truth. Again beware of this camping world.

Provided by YP.comThese folks aren't perfect, but they're fair. Just as good as other Knoxville RV shops. If you have Service needs, MAKE SURE you are speaking with a Service manager, not a Sales Rep!

This company has had my RV since April (June 20th at time of this review.). This is a brand new unit that Camping World of Cocoa Beach damaged fixing an awning. BRAND NEW unit and they have had this unit now for 2 months. Camping World of Cocoa Beach had it for a month and never even did the work and they are the ones that damaged it.
This has been the worse experience ever. Billy the "service manager" has done nothing but give empty promises. He even promised to wash the RV and did not even do that.
These people do not want your business. Drive to Asheville Camping World. Even the 2 hour drive would be quicker then even getting someone to answer the phone at this location.
Yelp - 1 star is far to many for this place.

Provided by YP.comMy motor home refrigerator needed replacing, I called camping world they had it in stock. I purchased it and had them install, long story short 2 additional trips were required to correct their installation,plus a full freezer of fish caught during my vacation in Florida was lost.

Provided by YP.comIf you want a company that has Bait and Switch tactics, if you want to be lied to about a # of things AND if you want a RV or camper delivered by them, make sure you get a lot of soil and shovel to fill in the trenches made by the delivery person who not only had to have his vehicle towed out, but the trenches had to be filled in by me as the company never offered an apology (even though it was their fault, plus they sold the right vehicles and kept the incorrect vehicles for delivery as told by delivery person), but they didn't even OFFER to rectify the situation.
Bottom line: Disrespectful salespeople, untrained staff and worse yet, poor delivery service.
If you're lonely and want excitement in your life so you'll be forced to make repairs on your lawn and write to either TN Consumer Affairs or write to the President like I had to do which didn't even ANSWER my letter and just forwarded it to the nitwit local company, then this is the place to go and be aggravated!

Provided by YPmobileMy water heater went out during a snow storm, so I called Kevin in parts. Kevin told me that they were closing early due to ice and snow which was already on the roads. I was 70 miles away and ask if he would let me buy it over the phone a drop it off to a neighboring business that would remain open such as Waffle House. Jeff the manager agreed with Kevin and saved the day for one needy customer. Turned out that Kevin waited on me.

We took our camper in for service and the service attendant at the front desk was to busy filling her face with her Chick-fil-A sandwich than to help customers. She was rude and unprofessional. After an hour and forty five minutes we still didn't get checked in for service. All cared about was trying to sell us a new camper so we would become "elite" customers . BEWARE and read the reviews, this company does not want your business!!!

Provided by YP.comDO NOT BUY FROM CAMPING WORLD KNOXVILLE!! General Manager Joseph Hoey is rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful. They do NOT stand behind their product OR their service and installation. Not to mention tell customers they are "through talking to you" and call you and your aging parents liars. Unacceptable!! If I could give ZERO starts, I would easily!

Provided by YP.comWe fired up our Bounder for a Memorial Day trip to visit kids and we realized our generator was not working. Three days before our trip started, we got it in for service, and they had it working in two days. We told them of our situation and told them about our Elite Good Sam status. We were thrilled at the quick turnaround! We felt obligated to post because of what others have written here.
