At Advanced Foot and Ankle Care, we believe there's no such thing as a universal approach to foot and ankle pain. Every patient has unique needs and places different demands on their feet and ankles. We take the time to get to know how you use your feet and ankles what your life is like, what you do for a living, and what activities and sports are important to you. By building a relationship with you first, we can determine the most effective treatment for you. And that means you can get back to living and enjoying life to the fullest. Find relief for all your foot and ankle problems. Your feet have 26 bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments, and 19 muscles and that means your feet and ankles are susceptible to a number of different problems. The following list contains some of the more common foot and ankle problems; however, we do treat other foot and ankle conditions that are not listed. Even if you do not see your condition on the list, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with one of our doctors. Ankle issues (e.g., ankle pain, ankle instability, weak ankles, and swollen ankles) Achilles tendon disorders and ruptures -Located behind your ankle; the Achilles tendon can often be injured in sports and other activities. Also, people who have flat arches can experience Achilles tendon disorders. Your podiatrist will prescribe treatment after accessing the tendons condition and range of motion. Arch pain and issues (e.g., high-arched foot, fallen arches, and flatfoot) Arthritis of the foot and ankle (e.g., osteoarthritis, arthritic big toe, rheumatoid arthritis, and hallux rigidus) Bunions- If you're experiencing pain or soreness, inflammation, a burning sensation, or numbness in your big toe or fifth metatarsal, you may have a bunion or tailor's bunion. Your podiatrist will work with you to determine a treatment plan that can relieve the pain and suit your needs. Calf pain-Calf pain can be caused by injuries, poor blood flow, blood clots, and over-activity. Your podiatrist will determine if your pain is the sign of a serious health problem that requires immediate treatment. Calluses- Caused by pressure and repeated rubbing, calluses can become painful. Your podiatrist can identify the cause of the callus and recommend an appropriate treatment to remove and help prevent the return of the callus. Diabetic foot and ankle issues (e.g., arthritic foot, complications and amputation prevention, and peripheral neuropathy) Foot and ankle injuries (e.g., peroneal tendon injuries, Lisfranc injuries, and sesamoid injuries) Fractures (e.g., feet, toes, ankles, heel bone, fifth metatarsal, and stress fractures) Gout usually affecting the big toe, gout is caused by the buildup of uric acid in the joints. Intense pain is usually associated with a gout attack. Your podiatrist will help you reduce the likelihood of repeat attacks through medication, dietary restrictions, and other treatments.

Called and made an appointment for my grandma after being told on the phone that they accepted her insurance. We showed up about 45 minutes prior to her appointment (like we always do at EVERY new doctor) the Doctor himself was one of the rudest people I've ever met. We were told to leave, walk across the street and wait for her appointment because they were having a staff meeting. So I had to take my 79 year old grandmother, 3 year old and 1 year old back outside and wait in my car to fill out the paperwork! Absolutely ridiculous! A front desk girl came out at her appointment time... NOT her check in time and told us "I'm so sorry, you can come in now" I get everyone back in and then I'm informed that I was given incorrect information by the new girl and they don't accept my grandma's insurance. The front desk lady was extremely sweet but I was shocked about the way everything went. Do yourselves a favor and find a different place to go!

Dr Schultz was a straight shooter, told me exactly how it is. I went over on my ankle pretty bad about 6 weeks ago. Typical clumsiness, as I went over all I heard was a bunch of stomach wrenching crunches coming from my ankle. My stubborness prevented me from seeing a specialist early but with such a slow recovery I decided to seek professional help.

After meeting with Dr Schulrz, he put my stress at ease letting me know that nothing was broken, it was a ligament tear but with little rest / recovery time, I was agravating it and not allowing it to heal.

Dr Schultz got me into an aircast brace with strict instructions on how to best allow a smooth recovery to also coinside with physical therapy.

Thank you thank you thank you. Now I just need to follow instructions and REST!!!
