Provided by YP.comMy parents purchased the a high end washer and dryer as well as all the kitchen appliances for their new home with the warranty coverage. In October of 08, my parents washer went out. We called the warranty company to have them come out and repair it. After 3 days of waiting, we had a technician come out. He replaced a fuse 2 that day and they kept popping. He than decided it was the mother board. After waiting a week, we had him come back and replace the mother board. That didn't seem to fix the problem. They tried other things, and nothing worked. They finally realized after 2 weeks of not having a washer, they needed to replace a major component. We waited 2 months for the part to finally come in, only after being told if they part did not come in after 30 days, we would receive a new machine, which we didn't. We gave up on trying to get a new machine, according to the terms and conditions in their warranty form and, and had them put the part in. The machine worked for about 3 days and died on us again. We have been waiting almost three weeks for this part to come in and still nothing. We tried getting a new machine, and they told us we had to wait for the part, which made no sense to me, since we are going on 4 months. My parents live out in a ranch about 40 miles from the nearest laundromat, so that's where my mom spends her days off because Maytag sells junk. I've tried negotiating a deal to make things easier for everyone, and we end up with the run around. My family and I will NEVER purchase a maytag appliance again. I will be contacting the necessary agencies to make sure my word gets out about my terrible and stress situation with Maytag.
