We met with Jeremy and applied for a unit here and were told that our $100 holding deposit check was completely refundable at any time, whether our application was denied or we changed our mind. We waited 48 hours to hear that we were approved in the first stage. We ended up deciding on another property that fit our needs better. When we called and told them and asked for our holding check back (as we were assured that it stayed in the safe until they heard from us). We were told that the check was only refundable for the first 48 hours. We didn't even hear that we were approved until 48 hours later, we hadn't even seen the unit yet. I guess since they work with low-income renters, they will try to get money from whoever they can, however they can. We were lied to and I feel like they scammed us. Don't get taken advantage of!!!
