Used to be a great company but since having been bought by JAB Broadband, who recently consolidated all brands into Rise Broadband, JAB has been taking over more of the management. I started with Mesa Networks about 12 years ago. Stayed with them when they were bought by Skybeam but now JAB (Rise) has tightened control of Skybeam and they are treating the customers horribly. I've had a static IP for ten years. Rise turned it off with out talking to me first and said I had to pay them $15 a month more to get it back! If they want to raise the rates at least talk to me first and give me a chance to accept or refuse. This was out right extortion. I'm currently looking for a replacement provider which shouldn't be hard to find.

The technician that came to my home to install Skybeam was very professional & knowledgable. He was quick & was kind enough to help me out with some other questions I had about my computer. I have used Skybeam previously & plan to continue to use them as my internet provider.
