Provided by YP.comI ordered Flowers from FTD and they chose this florist. The flowers were extremely wilted. It wasn't the flowers that we chose or the vase. The manager Gina was extremely rude. Refusing to send out a new arrangement. She actually hung up on us! Called FTD and had them send Amy's Florist back to pick up the flowers and receiving a refund. How disappointing! I thought I was sending my best friend in Ohio a nice surprise after surgery but instead it has been a nightmare. Please don't order from them. Bad, Bad customer service.

Provided by YPmobileMy fiancée ordered me a beautiful and very expensive bouquet of roses for Valentine's Day through 1800-flowers. Aprils Flowers were the ones that made and were suppose to deliver them to me. I waited around all day for them and finally got fed up and left the house to have dinner. Of course when we left the house they called and said they tried to deliver and no one was home. We asked them to redeliver the flowers. They never did and I remembered that I had the delivery girls number from when she tried to call me. I called her to ask her when they were going to redeliver my flowers and she told me she has them at her house and I should call the store to see what they could do. The flowers were already paid for and not only did we lose $93.00 but we didn't have any flowers either. I will never do business with them ever again! I can't believe that even happend!

Provided by YP.comThis is the worst business I have ever dealt with. Flowers were delivered a day late and half dead. I called April Florist numerous times, and was promised the owner would return my calls, but that never happened. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau ( April Florist has an F rating with them), and I have also contacted the Ohio Attorney Generals Office and filed a complaint. This company is awful...avoid them at all cost! These people are con artists!

Provided by YP.comI have been a customer at the Loveland location of April Florist on and off for the past couple of years. For the first time I decided to use them to deliver flowers for my mother’s birthday. I made an internet purchase of almost $60.00 dollars and scheduled it to be delivered to her at work two days later-on her birthday. I got a voice message from my mom the day BEFORE her birthday to thank me for the flowers. I immediately called April Florist to find out what went wrong. The lady at the Loveland location (Laurel?) said there must have been an error in reading the order. I vented my frustration and how I wanted to surprise my mother ON her birthday. The lady said, “What do you want me to do about it?” I said, “I don’t know, this is very upsetting”. Then she said (and I promise I am not making this up) “We can go back and pick up the flowers and re-deliver them tomorrow.” Do you know that stunned reaction you get and don’t know what to say because you are in a state of shock? Did I really just hear that? When I said, “That is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard”. She said, “Well, just call your mom and tell her we made a mistake.” I was even told (again, no lie) “I could see this as a big deal if it was Mother’s Day or Valentine’s Day.” I told her it was a big deal to me! She offered to call my mom. After gathering my thoughts, I tried the downtown location to find a reasonable person. No such luck. I told the manager, Jen, about my experience with the Loveland store. Then she said, “Maybe we could send her something really small with an apology on her birthday. I’ll promise I’ll call you back or the lady you spoke to at the Loveland store will call you.” Really?! Sure, that’s who I want to talk to again. In any event, no phone call ever came and no “really small” gift was delivered. The website states “100% satisfactions guaranteed”. I asked them “Exactly what does that mean to you, because I’m at about .00%” Here are a few statements you will find on their website: “Because all of our customers are important, our professional staff is dedicated to making your experience a pleasant one. That is why we always go the extra mile to make your floral gift perfect.” “We're always here to serve you and make your flower-sending experience a pleasure.” “We guarantee 100% satisfaction on all floral and gift items. If you are not completely satisfied, please contact our Customer Service Department” Don’t just take my word for it. There are plenty of 1 star reviews for April Florist out there on the internet. Google “April Florist & Gifts Reviews”. They really need to learn from a florist such as Adrian Durban. I love them and they have always gone above and beyond to resolve any issue I’ve had. I’d like to publically apologize to Adrian Durban for not using them this time. I’ve learned my lesson.

Provided by YP.comAPRIL FLORIST IN LOVELAND OH. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. WILL USE EVERY BIT OF SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLET I HAVE TO SHARE MY EXPERIENCE. THE NOT ONLY SENT THE WRONG THING, BUT THEY SENT SOMETHING THAT WAS SMALLER THAN WHAT I ORDERED. TO TOP IT ALL OFF THEY DID NOTHING TO CORRECT IT AND BLAMED VALENTINE'S DAY FOR THE PRICE AND FOR WHAT I RECEIVED. OTHERS WHO SENT FLOWERS TO THE FUNERAL PAID LESS FROM OTHER FLORISTS AND WHERE LARGER AND NICER THAN WHAT WAS SENT FROM THIS CRAPPY FLORIST. BEWARE!!!

Provided by YP.comOn Saturday May 24,2008 I went into April Florist to have flowers or a planter delivered to my daughter in law who had just given birth. The young lady at the counter called a florist in KY, as she is repeating back to me that the florist has a limited supply of flowers I am realizing maybe flowers is not a good thing to send, so I had her ask the florist if they had any plants, they did but were limited on those also. I ordered that and ask that fresh cut flowers be put around the plant so that it looked a like flowers for a birth. The planter was to be delivered that afternoon. I spoke to my daughter in law that evening and she didn't seem too excited about the planter, after speaking to my son I was told that the planter looked like dried up weeds, there were no flowers around the plant and he had to carry it to the room. It appeared I got nothing I ask or paid for. I returned back to April Florist on Wednesday May 28, 2008, the young lady that waited on me was working and remembered me, she would leave the information for her manager to look at the next morning and he would give me a call. On May 29,2008 I received a call from Pat (owner) he started out the conversation being very aggressive, he told me I was on speaker phone with the florist that Saturday and I let him know that I was not, he then told me I got what I paid for. He was satisfied with what he had been told, he told me that I came in and demamded a planter be sent that day,I explained to him that if I was demanding I would not have waited on me..he had no response. I ask for the name of the florist that sent the weeds to the hospital and he refused to give it to me, it was my money so therefore I have a right to know. This was the most hostile man I have spoke to in a long time. Pat spoke to me like a man who had all the power, well as a consumer I do as well, I have the power to tell everyone I speak to not to buy from April Florist, I have the power to let everyone know that if you have a problem with a delivery you will be wrong and he will be right so therefore do not give your hard earned money to a business who does not respect you as a customer. What really troubles me is when I was there on that Saturday the young lady told me that I was better off ordering them myself because of the third party cost, I should have left at that point, went home and ordered them myself. So many things on so many levels went wrong with this order and the way I was treated as a paying customer. When I went into April on Wednesday at no time was I blaming them for what had happened, like me they could not see what I was getting so therefore it was not their fault. After speaking to Pat and the rudeness that he expressed to me the cockiness that an owner of a store could have and in no way wanting to resolve an issue that a customer had tells me that business is not that important to him at all. DO NOT BUY from any company that doesn't have to work to earn your business. With the way the economy is today this was not the respose I expected.
