Beware!

Charged my card 6 times for one night DAYS after I was there. Still paying overdraft fees.

go to holiday inn express instead!

Room was about what one could expect of a Days Inn, relatively clean & no frills. Pool is small & kind of murky, but again not unexpected.

Problem came at check out time. We explained ahead of time that our son was competing in state wrestling tournament & we may or may not need a second night. We were told this was not an issue & booked 2 rooms with an adjoining door. Unfortunately our son lost his tournament so we were heading home & proceeded to check out at 4:00. Manager Patel was rude & irrational and charged us for BOTH rooms for a second night. Unbeknownst to us Days Inn placed us in the hotel's only handicapped room & a potential client was hoping to book that day at the last minute. We felt bad at the loss of business and did offer that we were willing to pay for one room, but felt both was unreasonable. Manager Patel refused to budge, tiraded over the noon check out time, and charged our credit card for 2 rooms for 2 nights.

Wanting to wait for his temper to cool, and not cause a scene that day in front of our children, I even called back 3 days later hoping he would be more negotiable. However, time did nothing to cool this man's temper. I then learned that owner Mike doesn't visit his own establishment, so Manager Patel's decisions are final.

In this economy, I cannot afford to pay for 2 rooms that I did not stay in!, and I cannot believe a business would be so successful that it does not care to accommodate its customers, and go back on its own word.

All that said, if this review discourages even one person per month to stay at Loves Park, Days Inn then although I won't have my money, Mr. Patel will not have yours either.

Footnote, there is a Holiday Inn Express right across the street, book there instead
