They took care of my cat for years and did a great job. When it was time to put her down though, they had 'No Appointments Available" and would not let me bring her to be Euthenized/
I was very disappointed that they took this position as they had been her vet her whole life.
I called State Street Animal Clinic in Belvidere and they took her in immediately and put her down for me.
I will never go back to "Mostly Cats"

This is not the cheapest vet in town, but you definitely get what you pay for. They keep a large staff, and the quality of care is a grade above. The way they explain things to you and their understanding of your particular situation are the main reasons I recommend them. It does seem they cater to "mostly cats", but I have seen dogs, too.

My cat was diagnosed with high blood pressure and glaucoma at UW Veterinary Hospital, and they wanted her blood pressure and eye pressure rechecked in a week. I took her to Mostly Cats, and they performed this svc (I assume, since they took did it somewhere besides the exam room). I got a bill for $50 for the vet consultation - there was none, just the BP and eye pressure measurements - and on that bill separate charges for each measurement taken ($30 each). I thought it was a clerical error, but the billing person said that was their policy. The 2 other places I had it done charged me $40. They don't ever seem very busy, but maybe it's because they overcharge their clients and don't have to see as many pets.
