fter building a million dollar home, we hired Casella Cleaning to do "post construction" cleaning. Our kitchen consists of high gloss black cabinets and Viking appliances throughout. Casella's crew used rags that either were dirty or had some sort of abrasive material on it. Every surface in our kitchen was destroyed with scratches. Our black gloss cabinets and all of our Viking appliances were completely ruined. The damage is in excess of $15k to replace the kitchen cabinet and appliance doors. Although we contacted the owner and he said he would do anything to repair the damage, when he heard the cost he said sorry," I don't have that kind of money". Although he is very successful, spends months traveling to Brazil, we are left with thousands of dollars in damage to our brand new home. The most troubling was that Casella presented an insurance certificate representing coverage; however, we were informed that "workmanship" is not covered under this policy and is an exclusion allowing the insurance company and Casella to not be responsible for his actions, even though liability was clearly established. We are now forced to file a lawsuit ourselves in court and hope for a successful outcome. Lastly, beware that if you do not follow his girls throughout the house, room to room, you will be paying for them to be on their cell phones instead of cleaning. Run as far as you can and NEVER put yourself in our position of having your property damages and being told sorry!!

This is a fabulous company! I scheduled my appointment over the phone and they send me an estimate by e-mail, they also send me a copy of the insurances and a video to show me how they perform the cleaning. The Office girls were very polite and they were on-time, and very efficient. Accidentally left some change on the kitchen bar, and the cash was still there when I returned. Excellent about detail in cleaning. Definitely worth the money for what you get! I highly recommend them. Since I had to look the # up again to re-book them here, i felt I had to write a review since noticed others weren't fair. I can't wait until they come again cuz it saves me so much time and energy that I just don't have.

Unprofessional, dishonest, incompetent and rude are just a few of the adjectives that come to mind when describing Casella Cleaning Services. My experience right from the start with Casella Cleaning was TERRIBLE. Trying to set up a schedule and contract with Eddie Casella was an unpleasant and aggravating experience. I spoke to Eddie on several occasions as he never seemed to get anything straight (every 1-2 minutes he would put me on hold) and each time he was rude and arrogant. But, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt as they are a small local business. The first cleaning session crew did not show up on time and they left early without cleaning my house satisfactorily (ex. Counters still had crumbs on them). I got no response from Casella Cleaning about this issue. At the next cleaning session the crew showed up over 3 hours early and argued with me when I asked if they could return at the scheduled time (isn’t that what schedules are for?) as I had an appointment. They came back late and only cleaned my house for 1 hour and did not vacuum well, did not clean the kitchen or use cleaning products in the bathrooms. I called and left voicemails for Casella but they were not returned. When I did finally get to speak with Juliana (who was very rude) after calling them for several days she would transfer me back and forth to different people, but would never let me speak with Eddie Casella. Long story short, I have not received an apology (or re-cleaning as promised in their contract) for these major inconveniences, an assurance it would be done properly in the future. All they do is argue with you and lie about conversations/events when you speak to them on the phone. I will NEVER being doing business with this company again! Beware to others!

Cleaning crew showed up 3 1/2 hours late at 5:30 pm.

We did not want them there at that time as we were scheduled for 2pm, and it was a busy time- dinner, etc.

Eddie refused to refund the $100.00 I was charged for that day, even though we did not receive a cleaning, and even though he verbally said that he would refund because he agreed that 5;30pm was too late and inconvenient.

His reason was "We not refund for services cancelled at the last minute."

It took multiple phone calls/emails to get this reply.

We just had the ducts and vent...

We just had the ducts and vents cleaned in our entire four-unit building in the South End, including those for dryers. They worked hard, and did a good, thorough, and careful job. The work, over 3 days, required scheduling with each of the unit owners. They showed up for all appointments and were pleasant to deal with. But one issue is that they may arrive 40 minutes or more late. There were no complaints from the unit owners.

If I could give them zero star...

If I could give them zero stars, I would. These people are completely unprofessional. First, it took weeks to schedule an appointment because it took them that long to respond to my e-mails. They finally e-mailed me to tell me they had booked me an appointment, but didn't tell me the time and day. When I e-mailed them back to ask them, I didn't receive a response. They eventually called me and told me that the appointment was the next day. When I asked them what time, they told me that they didn't know yet and that they would call me early the next morning to let me know. They never called me back. The person that was waiting eventually had to leave. They ended up calling me at about 5 PM to tell me that they were at the apartment building. I told them that had they called me when they were supposed to, I would've told them that the person who was waiting had to leave at a certain time. We made another appointment. They showed up almost three hours late, called and left a voicemail (I wasn't there and someone else was waiting) saying that the front door to the building was locked. Anyone who wasn't mentally deficient could have seen that there was a buzzer and intercom next to the door and all they had to do was buzz the apartment. I'm not giving them another chance. They don't deserve to be in business.

After 12 years doing business as a professional cleaning and employing 48 workers in my business I am very sure we deserve to be in business, what this Customer forgot to mention is that she had puschased a promotion online with another 943 others Customers, we are receiving complements from all others. when we arrived at this unit we tried to buzzer but no one open the door. we guarantee our arrival time but we had a problem on this day, we tried to fix and she didnt gave us the opportunity. BUT IF YOU DECIDE TO TRY IT AGAIN JUST CALL AND I PERSONALY WILL GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD EXPERIENCE. if we did a mistake i will do my best to fix it. They didn't show up for my est...

They didn't show up for my estimate appointment either! Eddie called me at 9:40 this morning to let me know that he would be about 15 minutes late for our 10:00 appointment. Since my husband and I are out of state, my mother-in-law was going to meet with him for us.



When he was still not there at 10:30, I called his secretary to check on his status. She said that he just left (although he had told me he was leaving at 9:40), and should be there any minute. She gave me his cell number, which I called approximately 5 times with no answer.



I called his secretary back at 11:00, and she said she could not get in touch with him either, but she would keep trying.



At 11:15, I finally told my mother-in-law that she should leave, because I was not going to hire a company that treated us like that on the first meeting. I would not recommend them to anyone! I still have not heard from Eddie...no apology, explanation, etc.

I called Casella for a home cleaning estimate. After rearranging my schedule at work and leaving early, I came home for the 4;00 appointment. At 4:15 I called to see why no one was here. The woman who answered said "oh yeah, he wont' be able to come today. I was going to call you." But, she didn't call me and I left work and came home for nothing. I was ready to sign up with them, but obviously now I never would. If they can't come for the estimate, will they show up to clean? I'm now following up with other companies. I would not recommend this company.

Look elsewhere if you need the job done

I contacted Casella Cleaning Services after finding their website to schedule a carpet cleaning appointment for condo in Lowell, MA. I live out of State (600+ miles away) and was looking for a local service to clean my carpets prior to a new tenant moving in. Initially, I was told no problem, and we set the appointment. A day prior to the appointment I contacted Casella Cleaning to question the equipment that would be used since my condo is on the 5th and 6th floor of a converted mill building. My concern was Casella would be arriving with a van which did not have a portable carpet cleaning unit and I wanted to ensure they did not make a wasted effort. During this conversation, Casella told me they needed to replace a hose on their current only portable carpet cleaning equipment. At which time, I stated I could contact another vendor to have my carpets clean. Casella stated that there was no need to call anyone else that they would be able to clean my carpets and they would call me during a 2 hour window two days later. Not only didn’t they call, but they did not return my voicemail I left them during this 2 hour window. So I traveled over 600 miles and at the last minute had to figure out a plan B because Casella Cleaning Services did not keep there appointment, return calls or have the proper equipment to service your carpet cleaning needs if you are in a location that their hoses can not reach you from the street. So if you need a cleaning service, please call someone else.
