Provided by YP.comThe food was at a good price. The service was friendly. However, the people working there do not speak much English. However, that is not a problem because it does not downgrade the quality of food nor the friendliness. Also, by pointing and saying how much you want, you will be fine. I had ordered "chicharrones" (fried pork skins) with "tostones" (fried plantains) and "batata frita" (a fried version of a type of sweet potato). The meal was very good and well worth the price, about 6 dollars. I also tried their "bolas de papa" (fried potato balls stuffed with ground beef) and was also surprised as to how good they tasted and how full they got me. Their food seems to be typical Dominican food. They offer both fast food (ie. fried plantains, fried pork, fried potato balls, etc.) and relatively comfortable food (rice, beans, stewed beef, boiled plantains, etc.). The only thing that may have improved was probably the language barrier (since my friends did not speak Spanish, luckily i did). The place looked clean and so did the employees. Overall, i think it is worth going to grab a quick bite.
