I like to vacuum my car at QE in Lowell because they actually clean out the hose nozzles so that they aren't perpetually stuffed with other peoples' junk, unlike most other self serve places. So there's that. Then, there's the service. Check this out... my mother and I were traveling down M-21 when she blew a tire (badly!) and we pulled over to look at it just about a car length away from the QE driveway, so we pulled in and asked if we could inflate the tire. Three nice men helped us inflate the tire, then put the doughnut on for us. I said, "Oh, you do tires too?" The response: "No, but we help women stranded at our business." They would not take a tip, but they accepted the muffins we brought back. :D Absolutely a delight to do business with great local businesses! We're going back today. EDIT: Sorry, they lost a star after that visit. The carpet shampooer machines were disabled and could only do vacuuming, and the hose was horribly clogged. The carpet brushes were missing entirely and the cords that kept them tethered to the machine were cut. I'm still giving them a positive review, especially for the service, but if I see carpet shampooing machines I expect them to be in full working order.
