My name is Rudolph Edward Gebhart III. I have fallen behind in the past, on my child support due to unemployment. It goes to Renee E. Gebhart who lives in Levelland. I made a big payment ($1000) when I was employed this Yr. I am now unemployed again (project completed) but I have a good employer who wants to hire me and part of it is to go to Chad, Africa. The problem is I barely have the $$$ to apply for a passport and don't want to take the job (it begins for about a month in TX.) if I can't (because of the passport denial) fulfill the position by going to Chad.

Is my passport presently being held because of my back child support? If it is can it be released so I can fulfill the position and continue paying my child support off. The position pays well and that is what I do and have done most of my life,as a Commissioning Tech./Engr. I would like to pay my X-wife off and this position would place me closer to that means. I'm presently unemployed, homeless, but surviving. Your and the County Attorneys assistance would help me, my X-wife and my children financially. Please advise me the passport is not going to be withheld.
