hpfl71 - Sounds to me like maybe it's your landlord that's cheap!! I've owned my Betenbough home now for 6 years and have enjoyed doing some of the upgrades myself such as tiling the kitchen back splash. Owning a Betenbough home can be a dream come true for people that wish to become homeowners. All houses require maintenance. I'm sorry you have such a sucky landlord.

We rent a Betenbough home. We know why you get more home for less money - because they cut corners! The air conditioning unit is too small for this size home and breaks down almost daily when the temperature rises. The bathroom fixtures are cheap. The ceiling fans are cheap and have already broken down. This house is only SEVEN years old! The air conditioning unit and ceiling fans need to be replaced. There are several outlets in the home that don't work because they are wired incorrectly. I suggest Betenbough spend a little more time and money installing their ac units. Central air is not a luxury in this part of the country - it's a necessity.
