Clean and great experience!

Attending a Saturday 1st matinee of the day is a waste of time and stressful. Doors finally opened 20 minutes before the movie started. Lots of people had to wait outside for up to 40 minutes. When the doors finally do open, everyone stampedes in to be able to get a seat, concession food, and restroom. I looked for hours of operation on the building and did not see any. When asking an employee if they knew what time the doors opened, she informed me that she "really didn't know and they usually open around 30 minutes before the first showing if the day."

The theater was clean and the seating is comfortable. The refreshments are priced fairly and the quality of the product was very good.



Now the difference in this theater and most other theaters I have visted. That difference comes with a name attached. That person's name is Kelly. He is the manager of this theater and is a fountain of knowledge. He knows theater business from the bottom up. Although I do not know this for a fact, I would wager a guess that he started as a very young man taking tickets, sweeping floors and serving drinks at the theater closest to his home.



A digitally made movie was showing and the computer-projector would not load properly. The problem was corrected in as short a time as possible. The movie was started and we enjoyed the feature. The surprise was when we left the theater. Staff members were at the doors expressing their regreats at the time delay. We appreciated this extra courtesy. They also gave us a free rain check to see any movie at any showing, even those that will not allow passes. While many businesses have forgotten how customers appreciate service, this is one business that goes above and beyond what is expected. You will not find me at any other theater in Lubbock!
