G. Gordon McCormack, MD is the Radiation Oncologist caring for our patients. Dr. McCormack specializes in treating a wide variety of cancers and oversees the entire treatment process. His primary focus at Century Cancer Centers Lubbock is providing patients with an environment that is conducive to optimal recovery. Dr. McCormack initially practiced Radiation Oncology in California, and has been practicing in Texas for 16 years, including the Spohn Health System of Corpus Christi and the Harrington Cancer Center of Amarillo. He is experienced in all aspects of Radiation Oncology, with specific expertise in Breast, Genitourinary (GU), Gastrointestinal (GI), Skin, Head/Neck and Brain malignancies. He is also experienced with advanced radiation therapy techniques, including IMRT, IGRT, Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT). Dr. McCormack is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology and is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association and the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO).
