Always visit both locations. If your dog doesn't have a collar and isn't chipped they will tell you, over and over again that you dog will only go the to the ash shelter, but that's not always the case. Mine (not wearing their collars, won't make that mistake again) got picked up with a chipped dog and was taken to the SE Loop Shelter. I was told they wouldn't be there and one lady made it seem like I was wasting my time and hers. But another, very nice lady took me back to look, and there they were!

I was told by the Police Dept to contact these folks. I did yesterday and was told someone would come out. They didn't. Called today (Sat)to check on status. No answer until one hour after they supposedly were "open". Person who answered put me on hold and then said she couldn't help as the "offices are closed today.......it's Saturday...... call back on Monday". Told her the website says the offices are closed on Mondays and open from Tuesday through Saturday.

She said she didn't know why that's on the website and to call back on Monday. So much for help from Animal Services.



BTW, when I clicked on the link that says "website for this business", I want sent to the Buddy Holly site. ??

Where is the professionalism today? Efficiency?
