This faculty was a huge step up from our first experience. We read all reviews on every site we could find and were very pleased. Most things were fairly decent. As far as meals, it was always everyone gets the same meal including dessert even for diabetics. Quality of. care was good, response was good although daily we would hear will be short staffed tonight. My dad was weak, poor appetite, foot infection kept him from walking Never was self feeding, alzeimers, always had family around morning to dark. My dad had adult diapers and did get a couple of bed soars. During one of my visits in town I noticed dad was very frail and looked at his bloodwork. Asked about going to the ER which they agreed on. My dad was transported to the hospital. The thing I absolutely didn’t agree with was the fact when a patient goes to the hospital, the nursing facility sends a report along with patient. This report is not normally visible to the family however I happened to see it in the ER room and it stated things that were not true like patient is self feeding, some self care items, has been awake and alert etc. my dad was none of those and never has been self feeding while in facility. When we took my dad to ER, my dad had not been alert all day, had not ate all day, barely drank any water, very frail. Sending a report that isn’t true just didn’t hit right with me. The nurses were aware of my dads past couple of days.
