Provided by YPmobileI have been paying for services that I am not getting. I have to wait for a month for an appointment only for them to cancel the appointment because they dont have enough therapist and then the next time I can get an appointment is in a mobth and a half. I cant cancel bc I will still have to pay because of the contract but cant get in for services bc they cancel. I do not recommend this place at all. You sign a cobtract then they do this to you take you r money for nothing. Thats called theft but can I do anythibg about it. No.

Provided by YP.comLiterally, by far the WORST massage envy I have ever gone to. The masseuses even hate it (I had gone through 3 different girls in my 3 months as a member!!). It is not a peaceful environment at all.
Also, the receptionists are not kept up to date with the contracts and rules of the contract. I had ended up moving (which breaks the contract), and was still charged for an additional month. But I was told that I could go in at any time after that to redeem my massage or I could transfer it to someone else since I had already paid the $45 fee. I even asked if I could use it 2 months later (since I knew I would be in town again soon), and the lady said, "Of course! Just keep your card so we can pull up your file".
Guess what? That was a lie. I had to speak to the manager about it and he wasn't even the least bit helpful or concerned. Seriously, the rudest man I have ever met. And he's running a place that is supposed to be relaxing?! He told me that I could take my business elsewhere - which I had already done, but I was just trying to get that last massage I was promised.
Do not go here. You should just find a nice small massage shop that is reasonable and understanding rather than one like this. Not to worry though, I will be speaking to Massage Envy's corporate office so that they know the kind of disrespect this man gives to customers.

Provided by YP.comIf I could give a negative rating I would. I was a member for 2 years and had to cancel my membership due to moving for work. I was told I would have 30 days to use my remaining accrued credits and when I tried to set up an appointment I was told I lost those credits with the cancellation- which would be understandable if I hadn't double checked with 3 different front desk workers about that issue. When I kept saying it didn't make sense and that was not told to me from the beginning the manager on the phone was rude and snippy (Brooke). Incidently my boyfriend is very close with the owners family however this particular side of the family does not like him- and due to the internet/social media they knew he and I are/have been dating seriously. Brooke's uncle is the owner of the Lubbock franchise and I asked her to have him call me to which she replied he was not available. I said that is fine just please have him call me and she said "OK, bye". I am doing all I can to dissuade anyone in Lubbock from going to this facility. It's worthless and VERY POOR customer service especially to let a personal matter interfere with a NATIONAL service chains goal to provide wellbeing and relaxation.
