I brought our Nissan Quest to the repair shop in early August 2020 for a transmission leak and a transmission that had started to periodically shift abruptly and harshly -with seemingly increasing frequency.

This van had not seen a Nissan dealership since we bought it new many years ago, so I was hesitant to take it away from the regular repair facilities that has earned my trust. I was told the leak was from an inner axle seal and the loss of pressure is enough to cause the experienced signs. I agreed to have the work done.

Despite some early interactional bumps and miscues I got the van back timely, the leak was stopped and the shifting did improve. I am aware that at some point in the future that I will need a new transmission, but the work that I paid for has held up. It is now January 2021 and there's no more leakage.

It's good to learn that any service performed at a Nissan dealership is warranted at any other dealership nationwide, from this small seal to the eventual transmission. I thought the bill for this repair was reasonable, but wish that the estimate for the tranny work would be a good bit less.

I would recommend this dealership to a Nissan owner who, for some reason, felt that their automotive issue requires dealership attention. For me, I felt that we needed to learn what was truly wrong with the vehicle and felt that the dealer would have the needed diagnostic equipment to tell me definitively; and I wasn't disappointed.
