Provided by YPmobileWife and I went there for the first time. Both had sliced brisket, which was very good and a lot of it. Both had slaw (good) and both had potato salad, although not the same type. She had a traditional mustard based potato salad, which she didn’t care for, but I liked. I had a “loaded” potato salad that was like a loaded baked potato without the skin, which I didn’t care for but she liked. I’m sure we’ll have another chance to go there next time we’re in Lubbock.
Note: They’re only open until 8pm and when we left at 7:30pm they were out of bbq and not letting in any more customers. That was a Friday night.

Provided by YP.comThe Shack is a great place for B B Q. It's a
little hard to find but worth the trip. We have
eaten here on several trips tru Lubbock.
We both like the ribs, but the brisket it great
also. The only thing we don't like is the sweet
tea it is a little weak for our taste.
Open Wed tru Sunday

Provided by YPmobileThe very best barbecue wWest of Brady and North of San Angelo, period. I think the next time a magazine does a story about barbecue in Texas that the really don't need to write about anyone else.
