Stayed here on a whim. Originally liked the place. Rooms were clean, & had space . We didn't know that checkout was at 10am, so we took our time in the am. At 10:20, housekeeping literally POUNDED on the door and said "checkout was at 10, you have to get out." We apologized, packed up & left. When we got home we found an extra pillow in the car. The kids brought their own pillows & must have grabbed theirs by accident. I get a voice mail saying "This is Debbie from the motel, you just left and took one of our pillows. I will pursue you until it is returned." I called Debbie, she said the next room also took pillows. I don't know them, we weren't with them, & I don't appreciate threatening voicemails. She could have simply asked for the pillow, & we would have happily sent it back. Instead, my family will not return to this motel. We visit Ludington every summer, & planned to stay there from now on. This is NOT how you treat a potential loyal customer over a simple mix-up.

wonderful staff and exceptional services. Very clean rooms with all the ameneties, everything you need within walking distance.
