Well I'll start off by saying the pizza didn't taste bad but that's besides the fact. I ordered a margarita pizza from Benzenoz Brick House Pizzeria and when I picked it up I got a cheese pizza with some tomatoes and dried basil flakes. The description on there menu both the printed and on Facebook menu stated thin crust (which it wasn't), fresh mozzarella (none), diced tomatoes (I got maybe 10 cubed pieces on the whole medium size pizza), fresh basil (only got dried flakes), tomato sauce and mozzarella. What's makes me the most upset is when I called to let them know the pizza didn't meet my expectations and just to tell them maybe they need to change there menu description. The young woman who I talked to didn't care at all. She kept back talking me saying the the dried basil flakes is technically "fresh basil" and that the fresh mozzarella is the regular cheese they put on all there pizzas that they grate themselves. I've worked at 2 other pizza shops myself that would of never argued with the customer, and would of made an upset customer a new pizza right away! but nope the lady just decided to hang up on me instead! The young lady HUNG UP ON ME! I wasn't being loud, I wasn't being mean, I simply called to just let them know. Im not even going to go into detail about how long I had to wait for my order and how my other pizza I got wasn't even cooked all the way. I'm upset I spent my money there, and I will not be going back and definitely not recommending this place to anybody!

Pizza was burned and the cheese was non-existent. Won't go back.

Ordered Sal's for the first time..pizza not horrible but very plain and the shop was grimy. Wont be returning.

The owner is great always washes his hands been eating pizza from here for a long time never gotten sick or anything. Now for.the pizza top of the line best pizza in the area by far. Only place I get my pizza from.

One of the best PIZZAs I had in a long time! Never been to Sals . I got say it is the best pizza in ludlow by far! The crust was perfect ! The sauce was fantastic! It was also very clean in there ! Keep up the good work ! You got a new customer!!

I would not recommend that anyone go in here anymore due to the unsanitary conditions. Years ago Sal's was THE place to go, great food (still is), but back in the day it was sparkling clean. Times have changed. I went in about 3 months ago to pick up a pizza and the owner was plunging the toilet in back (I could hear the squelching from the front of the store). He came out of the bathroom, plunger in hand, shirt soaked with water and stained, and took my money and handed me the pizza without washing his hands, no gloves either. As I was leaving he went over and began to make another pizza. The food is good but not worth getting sick over. I will go to Alexander's next time.

I've been going to Sal's Pizza in Ludlow for 20 years and never had a problem, they are very friendly people, so go in and put your order in and you will leave with a smile.
