Jimmy Taylor is absolutely one of the most honest and hard working people I have ever encountered. Over the past six years, he has done extensive work on my 1934 Chevy street rod, and his work has always been outstanding. He can literally fix anything. His prices are very fair, and he will always be up front and honest about anything he works on. I recently restored a 1966 Mustang that needed extensive mechanical work. Jimmy did a fantastic job working on the car, and had it in excellent mechanical shape when all his work was finished. With anyone who owns a classic auto, you can hear stories about owners getting ripped off and/or having work done that is sub-par. You will never have that problem with Jimmy Taylor. He is first class all the way.

Jim Taylor owns and runs Taylor's Rod and Custom. Jim has done work on my 1932 GT40 3 Window Coupe numerous times. I'm proud to say his work for me started a friendship that still exists. Jim gives it to you straight when doing business, no lies and expectations that aren't reasonable. Once Jim traveled from Lumberton to Durham after I called him and informed him I couldn't get into my 32 Coupe. Pulling a car carrier behind him Jim arrived only to be told by me I tried jumping the car but was using a vehicle that battery had low cranking amps. When I used my Dodge Ram it fired up. I offered to pay but Jim wasn't having it. He said it was nice to leave the shop. Another instance with Jim was at Pee Dee's Run to the Sun at South Myrtle Beach and my passenger door wouldn't lock. Called Jim he arranged a meet and took the door apart fixed the problem while he was there to enjoy the Car Show again he wouldn't accept any money. He said he had worked on the door before and felt like it was a reflection on his workmanship because he had worked on the door a couple of years back. You couldn't ask for a better fabricator or craftsman. Jim has a backlog of people wanting his services, me included but it's worth the wait. I can't wait to get my 1966 Ford F-100 in his shop. Oh Boy~!~
