These guys are a joke. Some scary people !The dental practitioners don't know what there doing its true. I had a similar experience gone in for a filling and they ended up pulling a tooth. At first they didn't even know what needed to be done. Since my insurance wouldn't cover the crown I had no choice they said but to have it pulled. The dental practitioner acted like it was her first time asked her assistant. Then was wrong tool. So they kept trying to pull at it with another tool tell it broke off. Then they kept disappearing in another room. I could hear them laughing and playing about. Yes its true what the other person said. They spend more time fooling around and are not very serious or friendly. They finally got the tooth out but boy was I in pain later after the Novocain wore off. Ill never go back there again. Another note I noticed the blond receptionist and the white girl ,assistant that was helping dental practitioner were bad mouthing another patient after he had left. Apparently he had complained about their lousy service . Saying that will teach him to come back etc etc. They have a very bad practice .I would stay far from these guys! They are the absolute worst !

Stay Clear of Calvert Community Dental Care. Very unprofessional to say the least! April 24, 2014 had this appointment at Calvert Dental my wife made for our son. First of all never really liked the service here. Aside from it being very small and run down looking. Used to be an old house converted into an office. Unfortunately that’s where our temporary insurance sends us. You know the type, a lower end Dental service for the unfortunate. Were anyone gets hired, people with bad attitudes work and constant gossiping among the staff and the receptionist about patients take place every time we go there. They have no class or shame. Not the greatest place to be. The kind of dentist that share an office, Dentist that no one else wants. In fact they don’t even appear to be real dentist but some kind of intern maybe. Whatever they are. They are not very good, nor professional. There was one Indian girl that worked there that said she was getting ready to quit as there were things she didn’t like about them and their practice. That was a red light itself I guess. Anyway this white trash dental assistant (young white girl with tattoo on wrist says “I love you”) takes an old x-ray from 8 months back and tells black dentist that she saw no cause to alarm and that the father made the appointment because he had worried about son losing his teeth. Which was not my concern.it was a check up and to check the teeth coming in and a cavity. So another dentist pokes her head in and she again repeats herself. The father was overly concern about son’s teeth coming out all of a sudden, laughing. Making me look stupid. Says I also explained to him teeth Sometimes just start falling out at once. That there were no worries. So the first black dentist looks at the old x-ray and begs to differ and concludes that two teeth must be removed because they should have fallen out by now and will make other teeth come in crooked. I asked if that was necessary. That maybe it’s too soon and they could still come out. Besides that’s an old x-ray and things may have changed since then.. White girl who speaks for the dentist says “Well no because then if you wait hell need braces and them ain’t cheap. (That’s how she spoke) that could be about $6,000. I replied “having a tooth pulled isn’t fun either, you guys had a hard time with mine and yanked and pulled for about an hour .Couldn’t figure out which instruments to use. Heard some oops and Sprained my neck Then broke off the tooth in pieces .Even had bruised my jaw. The other dentist poked her head in again. Then went back in. I think she was the one. So the white girl says “You know you need to leave the medical terminology to us don’t tell your son what’s going to happen just leave the medical terminology to us. My reply was “We don’t lie to our kids “” Well she said you can’t tell them in advance because a lot of so called concern parents do that and then when they come in the kids don’t cooperate, whine and make a big fuss and its harder for us to deal with. So its better to surprise them. So I said “Oh really? “ “I don’t think you have to worry because we won’t do anything here. As we left. The staff came out and started their gossip with the receptionist then went to the back together to gossip some more.I would stay clear of this strange unprofessional Dentistry.
