The staff and kids are ok however management are terrible. They will hastle you literally if you are a dollar short. One time I mis calculated the amount was a dollar short. Was called about it n was gonna include the dollar in my next payment. They literally called my cell and work place again over a dollar really??. No company does that. Not only that, they allow you to pay your bill by the 10th of the month but if the 10th is on a sunday they will charge you a 35 dollar late fee. No where is that stipulated in the contract about weekends. To me the 10 is the 10th and is considered on time. Be

Playcenters is fine for before or afterschool care for elementary school age children. The caregivers for the most part were kind and interacted well with the children.

My son did not particularly like it, however. He found it too restrictive, especially after coming off of a restrictive day at school. After 4 years with Playcenters, we switched to an after school karate program which my son LOVES.

I kept him enrolled in Playcenters on a drop in basis last year as a backup, and used it maybe 5 times in the course of the school year. This year I went to register him for drop in again, and was told because I missed their arbitrary deadline I would need to pay a $50 re-registration fee. I thought that was ridiculous, so I declined.

I emailed the president of the company to let her know I felt that was terrible customer service, and I never received a response. Not even an acknowledgement of my email, or a response from another staff member. That was just insulting.

THEN I found out from another parent that the Playcenters at my son's school was filled up, anyway, and has a wait list. Why didn't the office staff tell me that? They were going to let me pay $50 to register for a service I was not going to be able to use!

Bottom line ... if you have an active child, you may want to look into something more along the lines of a karate program where they can burn off some energy after the long day of sitting at a desk. And after school karate programs pick the children up from school at dismissal - very convenient!

These people seem oblivious to bullying, and have extremely young and very smug personel. Overall management is teribble.
