When they picked up our antique furniture, their next auction was the "Good, Bad and Ugly Sale! So, they threw our expensive antique furniture into this auction. What a way not to advertise quality items! The wording itself devalued our items which did not belong in the category of junk items they were selling. By the time we paid for them to haul a truckload of beautiful antiques, we netted around $100. It was not worth our time and effort and their level of care about our auction items left a lot to be desired. We could have had a yard sale and netted significantly more! Not a way to treat sellers! Why would a company EVER advertise any item for sale as either Bad or Ugly! Not a very smart marketing strategy!

I have bought and sold for man...

I have bought and sold for many years and I have to agree that I have witnessed items being sold for FAR less than it would have in ANY location. I believe, in fairness, that the building itself is not conducent to handle a crowd of buyers, comfortably. The center tables are hardly able to be seen while the auctioneer is selling and neither are the buyers, so bids get overlooked. The men were pushy and intrusive and I couldn't get the attention of the auctioneer without yelling....he moved on too fast and the prices did not get raised...(frustrating) Therefore, not attractive to buyers willing to pay more. The buyers that go there (including my own intentions) would go there knowing that it is in a nearby area to the wealthier homes and are able to get quality merchandise MUCH CHEAPER...as a seller, It's my opinion that it would be a NO-GO. As a buyer ~ GO! Hope this helps ~ (fyi...SILVER AND JEWELRY IS THE PRIME BUY AT THIS HOUSE)

I wouldn't use these people ag...

I wouldn't use these people again. We had one of Rick's people pick up items to bring to his auction house and over half the stuff didn't show up. Some of the items that did show up were labled under someone else's account-probably their house account. Very unprofessional and bascially a bunch of crooks. I took the rest of the items and a house from this estate to Alex Cooper. They are great-right down the road from this clown. What a BIG difference.
