I don't think they care about anything but billing. We took our diabetic cat with a sugar too low to register. It was an an hour and a half before he got an iv and glucose into him so naturally he didn't do well.

Our dog was sick and not eating. They didn't have a clue but started the usual iv and ran up a 1000 dollar bill. Two days later he was dead from a massive gastric cancer. Unfortunately, the vets in Lburg have abrogated responsibility for after hours care to what appear to be an incompetent uncaring group who seem primarily interested in your credit card and not your pet. This is to their eternal shame.
