Highly recommend taking your car here for services. I was on a pretty tight schedule today and Shane was able to fit me right in! He replaced my front brake pads and rotors in 45 MINUTES! Amazing! Another shop in Lynchburg wanted to charge me almost $500 for the work Shane did and it only cost me half of that at Expert Auto Repair! Amazing, quick and friendly service. I wish I knew about them earlier!

I chose to take my car to the Expert Auto Repair this week when I thought, at the last minute, I was going to need to take that car to my husband at his duty station. I called at 9am on a Friday morning and Shane worked me right in. I thought I knew what the problem was but I explained what the car was doing and Shane did troubleshooting to find the real problem instead of just looking for what I thought was wrong. At that point, he brought me out into the garage and showed me exactly what was going on and explained it so that I would understand. He helped me to track down the parts and replaced them quickly without charging me an arm and a leg for the labor. He also fixed my A/C which required an expensive repair and he made sure I knew exactly what I was getting into with that. He even helped me find deals on parts. Throughout the entire experience, he and Abby were very friendly. After years of bad experiences with mechanics, this was a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend them!!

Shane did extensive brake work on our mom’s Lexus this week and we are so pleased with his work! He accommodated our very tight schedule and squeezed us in during a holiday week. He was professional, very knowledgeable, fairly priced and most importantly, he is very trustworthy. We are recommending him to all of our family members and friends and will use him again for all maintenance work in the future. Thanks Shane!

I have been to Expert Auto for three years now. Shane has never steered me wrong. He does the best quality work at the best price here in Lynchburg. Believe me-I have been to and done my research on many mechanics here. I will never go anywhere else! It is so nice to go there and not feel pressured and he understands that we are not all wealthy and will prioritize and work with you.

I had taken my car to a national chain tire-and-repair place for inspection. I was told at that time that I needed brake pads, rotors and a new right front marker light. They "offered" to do it for me for over $300! After I recovered from the sticker shock, I decided to look and see if I could get it done for less. I read the reviews on Google about Expert Auto Repair, and decided to give them a try. As a single, non-automotively-inclined woman, I had some misgivings, but I need not have worried! I was treated very professionally and courteously, from the time I walked in until the time I drove away. The office and the shop were both very clean and organized. I got an appointment in a very timely manner, Shane did the work very efficiently and thoroughly, and - as it turned out - I didn't need rotors! The cost was what had been quoted to me up front, which I was also pleased with. I was struck by Shane's honesty as well as his excellent work. I would recommend Expert Auto Repair to anyone, and I plan on recommending them to my friends. Thanks for the great work!

Expert Auto Repair is the only shop I trust. I have been to them with a laundry list of things that need to be done and they will prioritize them and work within my budget to get everything done. The work is always excellent and never high pressure. As a woman I value that. I travel from Richmond and schedule my work when I am visiting family in Lynchburg. THAT'S How much I trust them!

I have been using Expert Auto Repair for all of our family vehicles for the last 5 years. Shane Kidwell operates an honest and knowledgable business and performs quality work with very quick turnaround. I would recommend Expert Auto Repair to anyone for their vehicle repairs.

Time and time again I've had vehicles worked on at Expert Auto Repair and keep coming up with the same conclusion - whatever the repair needs are they're just the best place in town to go to. It started out a number of years ago when I bought an old Dodge RamCharger with an intermittent electrical problem. I took it to another garage in town that let it sit for a few days and kept saying they couldn't recreate the problem, which I think was ultimately their desire not to work on it. I took it to Expert and they had the problem diagnosed and fixed in 24 hours. Because the price was so reasonable, I stood up and took notice of their commitment both to service and value. Since then, I've owned a Ford Taurus, a Toyota Highlander, and and Infiniti G25x - they've done some form of maintenance, mechanical repair, or body work on all my vehicles. There were 1 or 2 times I just wanted to keep them honest, and so I priced them out against Laslie's, Sandrof, Fort Hill Automotive, Harris, and a few other places in town - each time I came back with a smile on my face because they just beat the pants off of them. I've come to trust Shane and know he's not giving me a line of bull when he says something needs to be fixed. I've referred numerous friends there, and feel comfortable sending my wife there knowing if she goes to get her oil changed he's not going to try to sell her a bunch of other crap. I can personally attest to their trustworthiness and guarantee of their work!!!

I have used Expert Auto Repair quite a few times for the most minor things to major mechanical troubleshoot. He is an honest guy who consistently was able to get my jobs based on price comparisons. Over the past year or two I just quit comparing prices and call him and ask for his availability. I highly recommend him & his shop. Thanks for being good to work with Shane.

I brought my 05 accord in yesterday for brakes and oil change . I thought I needed replacement on everything. They took a look and explained everything with my car as far as noises, parts, and pricing. lucky for me, I only needed front brakes. They had me in and out so fast and they fixed all the awful noises. All the guys there are super knowledgeable and friendly. I will be going there for all my car care needs from now on. 5/5 stars you guys! Thanks again so much.

Expert Auto Repair is the place to go for car maintenance and auto repairs. Shane and his team took the time to explain repairs needed and answer my questions. They were all courteous and prompt with every visit for oil changes and brake and strut replacement.

Our family has taken all our vehicles to Expert Auto for over ten years! This is a family operated business with great guys working it. They give their best and have come through for us many times when we were in a pinch and needed our car fixed quick. The prices are very reasonable and fair and we've told our friends about Expert Auto because we know they are good at what they do. Thanks guys for a job well done!!!

Had a problem, got it towed by A & C Towing, who they work with. Curtis Carter is an awesome guy from A & C Towing. Then they looked at it within the day of getting it and had the problem diagnosed. Will continue to take my car there. Shane is an awesome guy.

They were amazing. I'm a college student from out of state and I needed car service quickly. They took care of me the same day I called. They didn't treat me like I was stupid because I'm a girl and it's very obvious I know nothing about cars! Their prices were very reasonable and they did a wonderful job! My car has been running great ever since! :) I will always go to them for any future car repairs I may need. :)
