With reservations confirmed along with the first night's deposit my children and I were set for our weekend at Liberty Univ. All that quickly changed with our first encounter with the hotels front desk clerk, Jacqueline. We attempted to check in at 8p only to be told that there room restrictions did not allow for more than 4adults per room. Of course I didn't see a problem bc it was just myself and my five children between the ages of 2 and 10. Shocked I objected to her ridiculous ruling yet by 9p our reservation was canceled with no refund and we were stuck with trying to find a hotel late at night when all area hotels had been booked for weeks or simply drive 5hrs back him. I have yet to understand why how a hotel could attempt to suggest a mother and her young children acquire desperate rooms because of room restrictions. In fact in my search for other hotels not one had a similar policy. Fortunately after the run around with Priceline and the hotel I did rcv a refund but not without experiencing total frustration, blatant disregard, and outright lack of concern. This review is for other families who are traveling to the area will bypass the troubling spots.
