My wife and I loved the Timbers... At first. It was a quiet community with a lot of tree cover. Over the course of our time living here I wouldn't recommend these apartments to anyone. We are non-smokers, and a smoker moved in below us. Our apartment consistently smells like an ashtray. We pleaded with management four times and the only thing they would do to help is to "seal" off the apartments from one another. This did nothing and the problem got worse and worse. I told them my wife has asthma, and they still wouldn't help us. We asked to transfer across the hall and they were going to require that we pay a security deposit of $350 and sign a new year lease. All for someone else's smoking. There are regular domestic disputes at night and the police are here on a regular basis. They won't always give written notice of maintenance coming into your apartment. In fact, maintenance will come in after one knock if you do not answer. If you are looking for a good safe place to live, look somewhere else. The rent is cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Overall, I would give my home at the timbers a 4 star rating because I believe this is a great place to call home. My only knock on the property is there isn't a pool. I wish there was a pool, but on the scheme of things, this place fits my needs than the other apartment complexes I visited. Lynchburg has a lot to offer and the timbers is located in an area that alllows you to get there or any place in the 'burg in 20 minutes or less. Unless of course it's Christmas time and you're talking Wards road. My apartment is a nice size and the acoomodations are sufficient. I like that I have a washer and dryer included in my apartment. That's a great advantage. it saves me money! The employees here are great and whenever I have a problem is almost always fixed in a day or less. So considering all those things together, like I said earlier, I give the timbers a 4 out of 5.

Hi, my name is ellen and I just want to say how nice it is to live here at the Timbers. I've been here "not long enough" and I enjoy my apartment. It's quiet and the location is perfect for me. I have a good size bedroom and it fits all my furniture, but it's nice and cozy. I wish that I could have more trees (even though there are a lot of them), but that's because I lived in the country before.

This is a story about a boy and girl living in a home that has plenty of space. It's got newer carpeting that's all over the place. The air conditioner is cold and the heat is hot. We evens got a car parked in front of our apartment spot. That's cold, meaning hot. We be happy with the tub, sink and dishwasher yo. The manager and folks that work here are like family, meaning close like my bro. So, to keep dropping the lyric like I'm making it rain, I can take my girl out on a date cuz the rent ain't brakin' me main...uh man. I might be white but I writing this review right. Now, that's tight. Heck, they even got the parking lot lit up with lights. That's bright! Now, if i could drop a beat to match how I feel about my home, I'd be breaking the bank with my awesome poems.
