Provided by YP.comImpressive service. I have an older vehicle that needed the starter replaced. It's a more involved job because the engine has to be lifted in order to access the starter. Bob communicated with me through the entire process, gave me a great quote up front and stayed true to the estimate. I was amazed at the quick turnaround time. I dropped the car off in the morning and actually had it back the same day. I've heard great things from friends and coworkers, so I decided to give these guys a call, and this has been a great experience. Friendly and knowledgeable. Great service at a fair price.

Rudes Auto is the best repair shop in Bellingham and Whatcom County. We have been taking our car to them for 5 yearsand they are always the best and fairest, price wise around. Other shops wanted $300 to $400 to fix my thermostat a $20 item... and about 1 hour to fix.Rudes fixed it for $72.00 total, they also fixed some other small items for free, a light was out and they replaced my wiper blades, FOR FREE...It does not get better than thisRick and Loni

Although Rude's Auto seemed prompt and helpful at first, I was so dismayed when picking up my car that I felt like going home and crying after spending $700 to install a new radiator, repair oil leaks, and turbo hose. Upon picking up my vehicle, I started the engine and was immediately shocked to hear a loud clanging noise that was NOT there before. The car was idlying very roughly, felt like the engine would die any minute and had an obvious miss, this was NOT the case when I dropped it off for a new radiator. When I asked him about the noise and rough idle I got a crappy response that it must have been like that when I brought it in. It was idlying smoothly before they repaired the radiator. If they had taken the car for a test drive before and after he would have noticed this! (poor work ethic)I called to inquire a third time because I was so upset, hoping he would follow up with my complaint and he gave me the run around and that I would need to fix an exhaust leak... "maybe the manifold for another $300 or $400 dollars...." being so vague, he doesn't even know where the exhaust leak is...didn't follow up with a smoke test, just suggested the exhaust manifold for another $300 or $400 and also should get a tune up for $250 or $300 more! Seems like the just want to soak me for more money! Absolutely no interest in doing the right thing (which would be to take it for a test drive to see what I am complaining about). They WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for their work even after I verbally complained several times. There's no way I'd ever go back!
