Never, never hire contractor Philip Brienze. He will probably provide an estimate lower than other contractors and tell you he will take care of everything just the way you want the job done but that is where it ends. He substitutes substandard materials and provides poor workmanship. He cheated me out of approximately $800 when he did a bait and switch on the fence material. Instead of using the 0.75" cedar fence we agreed on he installed 0.33" untreated discounted pine.

His workers were absolutely clueless, clearly not professionals. They didn't seem to know what they were doing and each time Philip Brienze showed up he just kept yelling at the workers. As a result, all the work was just a disaster. Besides of poor warped material with cracks and holes, the fence was installed improperly; it's weak, uneven and shaky, the retaining cement wall was fixed, but the surface is uneven, crooked and not smooth and the window he replaced is much smaller in size then others and is not well insulated...



When I saw a negative review online and brought this to Philip Brienze's attention he told me it was the customer with a bad attitude. I wish I listened to the review and never hired him.

Phil Brienze has NOT been a honest contractor. his word means nothing. He gives contractors a bad name.

Avoid hiring him, save your money and nervous system.
