Provided by YP.comI STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT GOING HERE! I purchased several Shun Classic knives (very high end expensive knives) here and one of them broke. I brought it back to the store several months later and asked if they or the manufacturer would replace it or give me a discount on a new one. The blond lady behind the counter shook her head and simply replied that I could purchase a new knife at full price. What happened to standing behind your product or customer service? Their prices are very high as well. Don't waste your time. Go elsewhere.

Provided by YP.comI bought a knife from this store. When I asked an employee if the steel was high quality, explaining that I had read the opposite online (I did not snicker, I was only asking) the blonde manager aggressively yelled at me for asking a "stupid question". Even the employee who was helping me looked shocked. The service is awkfu.

Provided by YP.comI don't ever get this mad about customer service, because most people in customer service jobs don't treat their customers this way. But I feel that it should be known that the manager at this establishment needs to be recognized by those who go there. She's unfriendly, unhelpful, and rude. I hope that perhaps if a few more people who have had, or will experience this issue with her, will read this and say something too if she does not change her behavior.

Provided by YP.comThis is the best cutlery shop in washington! It's got everything from kitchen knives to pocket knives and even swords! The employees are very helpful and informative. I was looking for a knife for my boyfriend and a kitchen knife set. The woman showed me all types of knives to help me come to a decision and educated me on each one! I chose a cool assisted Benchmade that he just loves! I then went over to the kitchen knives and she had me hold all different brands of cutlery until I found the perfect feel for me. I got a Wusthof Santoku chopping knife and it is awesome! Now I want the whole set! I will definitely return to this shop for all my cutlery and will also have them sharpen my knives as well. Love the service!

Provided by YP.comDON'T EVEN WALK IN THIS STORE. My boyfriend, his son, and I walked in to ask about getting a pocket knifed sharpened. The only person available was a blond woman who was standing behind the counter. Apparently her sole purpose in this store is to glare at customers.....perhaps to drive away business because they have too much? I don't know. Considering we didn't want to wait around for another person to become available, we approached her. There was no "hello, how may I help you", or "What can I do for you today", or even the slightest change in her I-hate-the-world-and-especially-you glare. She just stood there (probably envisioning how she would take the closest sword and decapitate us with professional grace) and waited for us to engage her. After we made our simple inquiry, she stared at the knife then rudely told us it was not possible to sharpen it there. Apparently it was TOO DIRTY....yes, she informed us that her "guy" would be "taking his life in his own hands if he were to attempt to sharpen this knife". WHAT?! Lady...you work at a KNIFE SHOP...don't you think a professional knife sharpener knows how to clean off a blade before he sharpens it?? She then added a new level of disgust to her ever present hateful glare and handed the knife back. Did she say "thank you", did she say "sorry about that"....nope. This customer service drop-out just stood there, glaring at us until we said "ok, thanks" and walked out the door.
Bottom line: This person obviously cares nothing about the store she works in, or the people that visit it. We left with a negative view of the store and will not be back....and will make sure others don't as well.

Provided by YP.comDO NOT SHOP HERE
I walked in today and was promptly ignored after being asked if I need help. I was the only customer in the store for the 10-15 minutes I waited patently to be helped. Apparently processing inventory and doing store paperwork is more important than customer service and making a sale.
