Thank you for submitting your review. People come to Village Frame Shoppe for custom picture framing and request my professional input for their framing project. I do not recall your project nor your saying that you did not want the matting suggested; do not know of ever charging for any "mistakes". Village Frame Shoppe glady and readily will stand behind any framing done in house. If you were dis-satified with the service you received I wished you had conveyed that at the time you picked up your finished project [and stated clearly that you wanted specific matting colors] and not l;et this become a "sore subject" with you. We make every effort to work directly with the client to achieve the finished look he / she wants. Village Frame Shoppe does conservation / preservation framing and will not frame anything improperly.
