Provided by YP.comI bought a 1998 Dodge Neon, knowing that the transmission was slipping and needed repaired. I took it to B&C and they told me what it would cost to rebuild it. I asked about a used one, since I had a price for a used one from another shop. They matched that price and matched the 90-day warranty of the other shop. Within a week the used transmission was slipping around the 22mph - 28mph mark. I took it back. They drove it once for a total of 5 miles and said they couldn't duplicate the problem. They said they went out to drive it again and it wouldn't start. Bob told me it would be $45 for him to test the starter and alternator and battery. He said it was the starter that was bad. I went to pick it up and was going to change it myself and they charged me $90! Was NOT happy! Towed it home, changed the starter myself. Transmission was still slipping. I started keeping a record, writing down the date and at what mph it was slipping. Prior to the 90-day warranty expiring I took it back and told Bob that I had kept a log of when and at what mph it was slipping. I dropped it off on a Wednesday, it has been almost 2 weeks and I have not heard a word! Poor customer service relations! If they tell me they can't duplicate the problem or it is now out of warranty or they band-aid it and it starts slipping again I am taking them to small claims court! This will be the last time I use these guys!!!

They charged me $740 to repair my transmission a second time after 21 months, yes it was still in warranty it broke on the Riverside bridge and had to back down the bridge into Tad's and get towed to their shop. Ask them about the guy in the Bucket truck and why the didn't warranty their work after only 21 months and less then 14000 miles. Good luck if you take your work to them.

Provided by YP.comThey repair your transmission and when it breaks under warranty the charge you again.
Ask them about the guy with the bucket truck and why they charged him $740 to fix it the second time after 21 months on the road and still under warranty, I am still trying to figure out their policy. They are not honest in their work practices. I had to give them at least one star, but if I could go negative, I would. Good luck if you choose them. And it cost me $100 to be towed to their shop. If I new what a terrible job they did, I would have taken it elsewhere.

Provided by YP.comI have had several transmissions rebuilt, No not for the same car. I have not had any issues at all. I feel they are in business to help folks and not leave them stranded both on the road or in the wallet.
Thanks guys
