Great small business in Machias area - carried a lot of different products. Owner was good, but had a bad experience with Manager (Audrey - something) - she didn't know what she was talking about and recommended things that the deer ate after I told her that I had deer problems. Owner corrected the mistake before I purchased the wrong things.

I managed Jordan Garden Gardens for 5 years. Met treasures in the community. Moved Wayne Lobley's family business from Water Street to Main Street. Built the business up. In that time I WAS undermined. Saw wonderful employees leave in tears. Customers ripped off. Wayne would not be accountable for diseased product, he did not take care of product. Wayne would not or could not afford to buy or take care of proper tools for the business. I watched him sabotage his family's business. He would not pay his bills. I took the angry phone calls. I had to watch my paycheck every pay day period. Worked in unsafe conditions. I put the business before his tantrums...There are 2 other florist in town that actually are professionals. I was fired because I would not look the other way. Audrey
