We were excited to rent bikes when we arrived on Mackinac Island and the first place that we came to was this island Bicycle Shop. Our family rented two single bikes and a tandem bike, but unfortunately, the tandem bike did not work well for our two sons. When we asked the employees to exchange the tandem for singles, they agreed. They restarted the times for the exchanged tandem bike, but they would not agree to re-starting the times of the single bikes. We were all in one group, and we had to wait until everything was all set with the exchange before we began our journey. Yet, they refused to re-start everyone's times. We're not talking about a huge amount of time-roughly about 8-10 minutes. Luckily, it didn't amount to a huge amount of money, but the attitudes of the employees and lack of customer respect was enough for us to make a negative lasting impression and we'll never rent from them again.
