Should be No-No to Lisa's...the Brushetta was made wholly of diced tomatoes, when asked about the other ingredients, the rude waitress said..."No, it's good, you want me to show you menu." I guess the olive oil and basil must have been optional (the bread itself was actually good). I had the grilled Tuscan shrimp, Angel hair way overdone and the shrimp definitely NOT grilled. My wife had the Lasagna, which was huge, but tasteless. Neither of us finished any of the 3 items ordered, waitress asked "what, it was not delicious?" Ummm, NO!!! Overall very disappointed.

I'm kind of surprised at the negative reviews. I'll admit I didn't expect much of this place being in a seasonal tourist town (let's face it, Mackinaw isn't known for 5-star food), but surprisingly it exceeded our expectations, we have since been back for 3 separate annual visits and have never been disappointed...it's a notch or two above Olive Garden in my opinion. Wood fired pizzas are VERY good. Meals taste homemade. Decor is high beamed ceilings, woodsy wilderness, with some safari animal mounts. Odd for an *Italian* place, but it's nice. Wait staff does seem like the younger seasonal college types, (again, as you'd expect) but haven't had a bad experience with staff yet.

Worth the wait

The waitress warned us in advance it would be a wait, which was fine since they appeared busy. She was very kind. Our food did take a while, but it was DELICIOUS and certainly worthwhile.

We waited and hour and a half for 1 pizza- a calzone and some soup.... after a lot of excuses about how busy they were (3 tables and 2 people at the bar) we left...

ANYTHING but this place!!!! I ...

ANYTHING but this place!!!! I called in for a few pizzas to be delivered to my hotel for my family and I.... The service on the phone was exceptionally rude, I would almost call it harassment. The food was wayyy overpriced, and didn't even taste good. I'm sure it would've been better if it was WARM!! Cold pizza for $70 doesn't cut it. AND.... they forgot part of my order. By that time I was so fed up with this place I didn't even care and decided to cut my losses. Wouldn't recommend to anyone!!
