We were on vacation on Memorial day week had finished our day on Mackinaw island and were eager to try some of the local restaurants. In the hotel we were staying they had a flyer with coupons for local restaurants. We chose O'Reilly's for their supposedly highly rated fish and chips. First we tried their appetizer "Golden Shrooms" which are beer battered and fried mushrooms $8.99, of which which you only seem to get about 8.99 pieces. They were lightly breaded in flour with no flavor some were even cold in the middle and the rest were still doughy on the inside just terrible. My fish and chips were again under seasoned the tartar sauce was just mayonnaise no discernible flavor, very disappointing. Service was ok but the price of the meal compared with what you received was unacceptable. Don't waste your time or money in this place. My advice would be to drive around until you see a place with a decent amount of people eating there. I agree with the previous reviews stay away.

I was very excited when I walked into this "Irish" pub only to be totally crushed when I walked out.

The Guinness I ordered tasted horrible, It had some other beer mixed in.

My "Steak" sandwich was so full of stringy - gristle I had to send it back. I didn't get a replacement until after the rest of my party was finished with their dinner. The server said sorry but out of habit I'm sure. I've been in other places where a manager at least would come offer a free drink or food discount.

Horrible place. Don't even waste your time.

I didn't even mention how overprice they are. Food served in baskets should never cost that much. Yuck!

I have to say this is got to be the most unfriendly service I have ever had my food was burned then when you complain to the manager he just walks away not I'm sorry or I'll get you something else then they charged me 15% automatic tip because they gave 5% off the bill for my bad food or thanks I have not just pay for the worst food but I also have pay you for getting treated like crap thanks alot!!!I hope everbody reads this review!!!!!!!
