Provided by YP.comMy daughter loves coming here. She is actually ecstatic when I say she has a dentist appt! The staff is wonderful and caring. The office is run very efficiently. We never have to be there long, and there is a lot for the kids to do in the waiting room (not that we ever wait much). My kids don't want to leave! I would highly recommend this office to anyone, especially if you have a child who is scared of going. They make it fun!

Provided by YPmobileThis is why I am glad my kids go here. We have been with this dentist for a year now and my son had one of his front fillings fallout (an old filling from when he was little). He currently has braces and got them from the Awesome Macomb Orthodontist next door. However, since the braces covered the tooth, the braces wire and bracket needed to be removed. Let me just say that they saw us immediately at my dentist and they sent us next door to remove the wire/bracket and then filled in the tooth beautifully with a filling. Then went back next door to put the wire back in. It was perfect. I highly recommend both dentist and orthodontist. The staff is super nice and professional.

Provided by YP.comAbsolutely the kindest and most talented professionals are employed here. My son looks forward to his dental visits and is always excited to see Ms. Sam and the Doc. He feels like he accomplished something with every cavity free certificate that he receives. He brings them to school to show the other kids and then displays it proudly on the refrigerator for all to see. Macomb Children's Dentistry is the best practice we have ever visited. We will continue to be patients here for years to come. Thank you for taking such good care of my child and treating him as one of your own.

Provided by YP.comLet me tell you how I came to this fine dentist office.
My sons teeth were in very bad shape due to pitting and bad saliva issues. We were seeing another Pediatric dentist but knew we wanted to get a second opinion. Man am I ever glad we did. We went to see my dentist who is Dr. Batra wife told me of her husbands new practice. We were welcomed so beautifully with a GREAT kid friendly environment and wonderful office staff. Dr. Batra has a great personality for children. Always gentle, uplifting and kind and truly wants what is best for my kids.
My son has had to have alot of dental work do e and I am so thankful that Dr. Batra was the one doing the work.
I have recently taken my son to his orthodontist appointment anf they were completely impressed at the information and the prep work that Dr. Batra did for my sons future ortho work.
Thank you Macomb Children's Dental for a truly great experience

Provided by YP.comI have been in dentistry for 28 years and have personally worked with Dr. Batra. I was so happy when he wanted specialize in Pediatric Dentistry because he loves kids and so does his staff. They go above and beyond to make every child's experience fun and comfortable. it is sometimes a challenge to treat small children that are less then cooperative, that's why they have specialists that get special training and learn techniques to be able to treat kids that general dentists are not trained to handle. I have never met a small child that wanted to have an xray taken, because they can be big, hard and sometimes makes a child gag and that can scare a child. Watching your child have something done that is uncomfortable and makes them cry is not easy, similar to watching them get their vaccinations, which always makes them cry! They usually forget about it shortly after it's done and parents know that it is for their own good. A good dentist can't diagnose and shouldn't diagnose any one without proper xrays even if they are uncomfortable for the patient. I have never met a parent that wanted to hear that their child has severe decay throughout their mouth but having an office like Dr. Batra's that offers hospital privileges is a great service. Children that have a lot of decay can be traumatized by having to return to several dental appointments, getting numb and hearing the sound of the drill, this can cause fear that they carry through their life. The hospital option is great because they are treated by a professional Anesthesiologist that safely and comfortably monitors them throughout the procedure and they get everything done in one appointment and they don't remember anything. I think that the office itself shows that they care about a child's experience with them, offering TV's on the ceiling and fun things to do while they wait. I give Dr. Batra and his staff 5 Stars! Keep up the good work!

Provided by YP.comNO THANK YOU! Yes the office is kid friendly but the staff is horrible...at least to me. The Dentist is loud and obnoxious and him and his staff looked at my daughters teeth and whispered to each other in the corner while shaking their heads. When the assistant couldn't get an x-ray for my four year old, the Dentist aggressively steps in and tells me that he needs the x-rays and that he'll get them but she will cry. I accepted but he held her head and shoved it in her mouth even when my daughter cried and pushed her bottom off the seat a bit. My daughter is always compliant with her other dentist. NO WAY am I coming here ever again.
