January 2018 marked a new era for Toyota Motor Sales in metro Detroit when Matick Toyota in Macomb County opened as the newest Toyota dealer in Michigan. In 2016, owner Karl Zimmermann purchased the former McInerney Toyota franchise in Clinton Township, which operated for 30 years on Gratiot Avenue, and rebranded the dealership as Matick Toyota. In early 2017, he moved sales and service operations into a remodeled Macomb Township facility on Hall Road, just west of I-94. Since then, the staff and vehicle sales have more than doubled. The expanded dealership offers a much-improved guest experience and an expansive inventory. The existing Gratiot Avenue body shop transformed into Toyota’s first and only Certified Collision Center in Michigan.

We recently purchased a vehicle here, Mike Riess helped us. He was very informative about everything, made sure to get us in a vehicle that was fitting and affordable for our family! The service center and dealership was courteous and friendly.
