My husband passed away on 4-8-16 and the funeral home did a great job on his service but their director, LaDon wasn't very helpful and dropped the ball and upset his family. First of all, we wasn't explained the package pricing. We told her what we thought we had on the insurance amount and she went for it. Found out we didn't have the amount we thought we did and asked for a payment plan to pay the difference. We were told we only had 30 days and it had to be paid by that time. Thanks to my church, work, family, and friends it was paid. Also she didn't advise us of the food cost of $795 which we could have done without. After waiting 7 weeks for his VA marker to come in, I have found out today, it hasn't even been ordered. I would not recommend this funeral home because of her. She was very rude to my daughter on the phone when she was just trying to find out how much money we had to come up with. Matt and Linda tried to help us correct the problem. . Matt needs to be the manager.
