Founded in 1961, Parts Central based in Georgia is an outgrowth of the warehouse distributor function of its parent firm Butler Supply Company. It became a part of the Bumper to Bumper franchise outlets in 1977. Parts Central offers a range of products, such as water pumps, buss fuses, carter fuel, truck parts, engine parts, morse brakes, wix filters and many more. The company has its own Point of Sale computer system, The Parts Central Quantum Leap or QL for customers. Parts Central has also developed an automated inventory management system (A.I.M.) for management of its assets and for increasing sales.
