I have tried other Doctors and businesses and none even come close to what these professionals offer. I had wax in one ear and went to a MD to get it removed and thought I was going to jail before I got out of that office. Horrible experience. Then I found Alabama Hearing and had to have wax taken out of my ear again. There the treatment was professional, smooth as glass and the softest hands I have ever experienced. She had the wax out in seconds and no pain or problem. I was amazed and thankful. I have bought 4 sets of hearing aids from Alabama Hearing and been satisfied with all of them. If ever an issue they get it corrected quickly and painlessly. There are a lot of hearing businesses, but none, to my knowledge, that is better than the two ladies that own and operate this business. I went to Alabama Hearing Associates for hearing diagnosis. They have adequate testing facilities, tested my hearing and provided me with a hand written report. When it came to billing I was less satisfied. They had told me that they take Blue Cross Blue Shield, as I had asked before treatment if the diagnostics would be covered. I paid my deductable at the time of my visit, but later on they came to me for the full remaining balance of the visit, saying it was not covered by Blue Cross Blue Shield. I believe they encounter Blue Cross Blue Shield often, and knew ahead of time that the bill would not be covered by them. By telling me initially that they 'accepted' my insurance for diagnostics, they denied me the chance to look elsewhere for a clinic where the treatment would have been covered. And they refused to negotiate on the amount, and were even rather rude about it, hanging up on me when we were discussing the matter.
