Founded in 1964, the Westminster Christian Academy offers Christianity-based academic options to students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. Its curriculum includes reading, history, math, art, science and English. The school conducts classes in Bible studies, interior design, computer applications and world literature. It also provides various foreign language programs, including French, Spanish and Latin. The school sponsors the National Honor Society, as well as operates a student council and booster club. In addition, it offers a variety of sports programs, including basketball, football, wrestling, and swimming. The school maintains a library and media center that stocks books and periodicals and provides links to search engines. The Westminster Christian Academy is a ministry of Westminster Presbyterian Church and maintains a Lower School in Madison, Ala.
