If there was a negative star that is what they would receive Citi Trends in Madison Florida (-⭐️). First of all I went there on the 06/26/2017 purchased some clothing at regular price one shirt that was on clearance for my son, and some jelwery for myself that was on clearance. Well got ready to cash out Michelle which is the​ cashier told me just a minute ma'am I said ok. She stood at the counter and proceeded​ to pinch off a piece of hot wing not once but twice and ate it. Then wiped​ her hands on some greasy paper towel then began to ring my items. While ringing the items. A pair of earrings that were marked down for $.50 rang at​ $ 3.00. So I asked what was $3.00 Michelle looked for the item then said it was the earrings. I said it wasn't my fault that someone​ put the wrong price on there. But she PEELED the sticker off in front of my face and told me they were $3.00. She Called Pam which was the manager. Pam says very loudly oh no those definitely not the right price take that off! I continued to check out. The cloths where too small so I took them back the following day 06/27/2017. Took my sons this time so the may try the clothes on. Exchanged some items for larger sizes and the shirt on clearance happened​ to be one of them. Pat the manager says that this shirt is not on your receipt. I told her it should be because I put everything on the counter for Michelle to scan. I also so said here we go with another issue. So Pam continued​ to repeat that the item wasn't on the receipt I said ok so just ring it up with these other clothes that I am purchasing today. Pam said ok but proceeds to ask Michelle about the Clearance​ Shirt. Michelle said that she doesn't remember scanning that particular shirt when I checked out. At the counter I have close to $85.00 worth if clothes. So asked I the question why would and how would I steal one $7.00 shirt out of all the stuff I purchased! Another question I asked Michelle is does she remember what she scanned everyday for each individual she replied yes I replied lies. This situation went on and on about the shirt. I asked Pam to pull the tape. She wouldn't I felt like I was humiliated, accused and harassed, in front of my children and a lot of customers. Being that I called the about situation on the 26th. The district manager Val called to speak with Pam about that issue while I was being accused of stealing basically for the second time. Pam wouldn't​ tell here about that so I called Val and told her. She apologized and said thanks for letting her know. I told her that I had two horrible experiences at Citi Trends in Madison Florida and will not be returning! To me Val didn't do everything she could because I did receive a written apology through email or any coupons​ or nothing. So I guess it's ok to be harassed accused of stealing and humiliated by Associates and Manager at Citi Trends. I really would have left items in the store and gotten a refund. However my sons wanted some urban clothes so not to disappoint them and feel like this was a blank trip 35 Minutes to get there. I kept the items and purchased more. Normally I take them to them elsewhere for school shopping for these reasons! Feeling Harassed, Accused of stealing, and Humiliated. Nothing was done about it either! Pam and Michelle should be written up as the final warning! They have no Tact what so ever!!!!!! Something really should be done about this whole situation with Pam, Michelle and Val. I work two jobs to make sure my children have all of what they need and half of what the want I DO NOT STEAL!😡
